MoComposite cards, or as we call them, SilkCompz™, sed or zed
cards, describes 51?2" x 81?2" or 81?2" x 11" cards displaying
the best photographs from a models’ portfolio including physical
stats and contact information for the model or agency the model
is signed with. Essentially, this the most important marketing
tool for Models and “Visually Marketed Talent”, (i.e., people
who seek employment based at least partially and/or primarily
on their physical appearance).
Actors/Actresses also use something similar to a comp card, it
is referred to as a “Head Shot” and is typically an 81?2" x 11"
card with one large photo on the front and contact information
on the back.
Although composite cards may be custom designed, typical styles
include a model’s headshot on the front with the contact information
printed on the back, along with 3-4 photos (number of photos vary)
showing the model/talent at their best.
